Privacy notice
For requests to test Wield Bible · Last updated October 7, 2026
What we collect
When you ask to test Wield Bible, we keep:
- your email address and name;
- anything you write about yourself in the note;
- whether your request is waiting, approved or declined;
- whether you asked for update emails;
- the date you asked.
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers on your own device that you have sent a request.
Why
To decide who may test Wield Bible, to let approved testers into the test version, and to contact you about the test. If you ticked the box, we also email you about updates and when Wield Bible is released. Nothing else.
Where it is kept
Requests are stored in Google Firebase, the service that runs Wield Bible’s accounts. Only Lamp & Sword Publishing can read them. We never sell or share your details.
The test version itself
The test version checks your sign-in email against the approved list. Once you are signed in, it keeps your study work (notes, highlights and the like) so it can sync between your devices, and counts how the app is used (such as visits and which tools are opened) so we can improve it. Those counts never include what you write.
Your choices
To stop update emails, or to have your request deleted, write to hello@wieldbible.com. We keep requests until the test ends, or until you ask us to delete yours.
Children
Requests are for people aged 13 or older. Younger students should ask a parent or teacher to sign up for them.
Changes
A full privacy policy will replace this notice when Wield Bible is released. If what we collect changes, we will update this page first.
